PPF or ceramic coating? The difference that matters
· 6 min read
This is the question we are asked most. PPF is a thick film that absorbs a stone strike and self-heals with heat — it is the only one of the two that prevents physical damage. A ceramic coating is a very thin layer chemically bonded to the paint; it sheds water and dirt and makes washing easier, but it will not stop a stone. Together is the ideal: the film protects, and the coating on top keeps it easy to clean.
